This is the Bao Tail- Black sticker, part of the Bao Head Collection. This is a bao “braid”, but it actually looks like how I style my hair when I divide my hair in sections with hair ties. It creates a nice tail whip. Enjoy this bao tail sticker!

Many Asian cultures have their own version of delicious Chinese bao. Filipinos have siopao, Indonesia has bakpau, and there are many more. Food has been the entrance to many different Asian cultures for me. With the bad head collection, I wanted to acknowledge the importance of food and how much I think about it. I really do. I also wanted to create more things with Asian and Pacific Islanders in mind.

Representation is very important to me in everything I do, especially since Asian American and Pacific Islander is still fairly “new” in the media. I also really believe in creating representation if you want to see it, and that if you don’t represent yourself, someone else will. 

About The Thoughtful Beast: 

Trixi a socially conscious dance filmmaker and videographer using the digital guise of The Thoughtful Beast. Trixi creates work centered on fighting the stigma against mental illness and mental health. Utilizing visual storytelling experience as a dancer and choreographer, Trixi sets out to make videos that kinesthetically connect with her audience.

Fun stuff:

Trixi is in love with art so much, she also creates as a singer, actor, writer and digital designer. When she isn’t making art she is watching TV (anime, sci-fi, dramas, comedies), working out and of course, drinking boba! Milk tea and boba are the best! Pudding milk tea is also great!
